Proposal Description
Pulsar is a hybrid platform for yield-farming and on-chain NFT games. The project aims to create a seamless experience of “earn to play” model. The model in question allows players to stake tokens and play games with their staking rewards. Since Pulsar games requires players to interact with the platform quite often, it is likely to increase traffic and bring in new users to IoTex. Apart from being a yield-farming and on-chain gaming project, Pulsar also has ambitions to serve as a gamified launchpad. The first IFO of this launchpad will take place on Nov 12. IoTex offers a suitable environment for this project due to the nature of on-chain games; such games requires a high number of transactions by players; thus, the gas fees for these transactions should be fast an affordable. According to data provided by Chainlink representatives, PolyPulsar is in the top 3 projects using VRF on Polygon. On-chain data proves this suggestion for our 3 on chain games: over 277k transactions for Bounty Hunter, 105k for Polygalactic Hunter, and 56k for PulsArena. As mentioned above, such user traffic can increase users engagement with whole IoTex ecosystem.
In the longer term, Pulsar team aims to develop off-chain games in addition to on-chain ones and become a multi-chain gaming hub. The team is currently working on an NFT marketplace, a special collectible edition, and off-chain games.
Pulsar is already deployed on Polygon. The project has [no bots], 2,800 followers on Telegram; 2,700 on Twitter, 600 on Instagram, 180 on Discord and 80 on Youtube. Founder of the project, Nox, is one of the oldest Rug Doc admins with a good track record of 4 projects since March 2021.
