CURA represents a revolutionary integration of real-world pets into the Web3 space, featuring a sophisticated smart dog collar equipped with advanced activity monitoring and precise location tracking. By leveraging DePIN technology, CURA processes collar data via decentralized AI to offer pet owners real-time insights and the ability to monetize their pet-related data. This system enhances pet safety and care by enabling owners to earn tokens through daily activities, use them in an integrated reward store, and contribute to a detailed pet-friendly map that marks safe walking routes and amenities. CURA plans to build a DePIN network based on collars, integrating artificial intelligence models. Pet data will play a significant role in the CURA network, facilitating the construction of large AI models for pets, and providing an excellent scenario for experimenting with privacy-focused AI.

Market Size

The pet market is enormous, expected to reach $300 billion by 2025. People are paying more attention to their pets’ health and interacting more with them, considering pets as indispensable family members. In the U.S,2 million dogs go missing each year for various reasons, which is a devastating blow to any pet-owning family. Pets are not just animals but silent companions. Over 90 million households in the U.S. own pets, with more than 60% of these families having an annual income exceeding $80,000.

Cura collars can attract customers from this high-income demographic, while CuraMap can potentially reach all 90 million households (collar users pay for CuraMap, while others do not). The smart collar market faces challenges such as price, privacy protection, and product reliability. Additionally, the market is highly competitive, requiring solutions for product differentiation and brand building. The advent of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things can provide more solutions and enhance the competitiveness of smart collars.

Hardware:

Our smart dog collar, engineered with an SoC + multi-sensor suite, serves as a comprehensive pet health and safety system. The smart collar supports wireless communication methods such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LTE-M. It tracks a dog’s daily activities like steps, calories burned, and heart rate, offering a full view of their well-being. The collar not only tracks but also recommends daily step counts tailored to each pet’s health needs and includes emergency contact information for quick assistance.

Real-time data processing within the SoC supports AI models for health and route planning, giving pet owners actionable insights and scientifically-backed care recommendations. Equipped with GPS & GLONASS, the collar enhances social interactions and remote training.

The CURA Map offers comprehensive safety and environmental information to ensure your pet’s well-being, alongside route planning features for safe and enjoyable walks. It also provides lost pet recovery assistance through advanced location tracking and offers information on pet-friendly businesses, including accommodations, restaurants, and dog parks.

W3bstream & Iotex Integration:

CURA leverages IoTeX technologies to enhance its smart collar ecosystem significantly. By integrating W3bstream, CURA smart collars process and stream data in real-time directly from the device, reducing reliance on the cloud and enhancing privacy. This system supports on-device TinyML, optimizing pet health tracking for efficiency and accuracy. Furthermore, utilizing IoTeX’s DID capabilities, CURA ensures that each pet’s data is secure and personalized, which enhances safety and trust within the system. Additionally, CURA incorporates ioPay for secure token management and transactions, DePINscan for transparent monitoring of token activities and data contributions, and ioTube to facilitate seamless asset transfers between different blockchain networks, thus broadening the utility of CURA tokens across the ecosystem.

Edge AI

CURA uses an advanced chipset to power its smart collar with Edge AI, allowing real-time data processing directly on the device for quick responses and increased privacy. This reduces reliance on cloud connectivity, ideal for pet owners on the move. It features Tiny Machine Learning (TinyML) to efficiently monitor pet activities like steps and heart rate without draining the battery.

For security, CURA uses Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) and encryption to protect data and ensure access is limited to authorized users only. Additionally, it employs Multitask Learning, enhancing model accuracy by learning from multiple data streams simultaneously, giving pet owners precise and timely health insights.
