IoTeX is proud to join the China Mobile IoT Alliance, a joint union of technology companies and enterprises focused on bringing frontier technology, products, and solutions to the Internet of Things industry! Formed in June 2017, the China Mobile IoT Alliance has more than 150 members, including mobile and telecom giants China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, ZTE, Huawei, and more.
As the first and only blockchain company invited to join the alliance, IoTeX will help bridge blockchain and IoT technology with real-world use cases. With the ability to partner with other alliance members, IoTeX will build in-depth expertise in the areas of smart cities, trusted computing, supply chain, and more. IoTeX will also present in alliance meetings on a quarterly basis and will contribute to powering the commercialization of the global IoT industry with blockchain technology.
The China Mobile IoT Alliance is jointly initiated by China Mobile and renowned enterprise partners and research institutions, all of which provide unique expertise in IoT chips, modules, terminals, networks, platforms, applications, and other related industries. By building a collaborative and mutually beneficial community, the alliance will tackle IoT obstacles in real-world scenarios and work together on research and development to further the entire IoT industry.
China Mobile is the largest mobile telecommunications corporation by market capitalization and is also the world’s largest mobile phone operator by the total number of subscribers, with over 902 million subscribers as of June 2018. IoTeX is one of 21 new members of the China Mobile IoT Alliance.
