This proposal aims to deepen the adoption of IoTeX in local regions by engaging developers, designers, content creators and blockchain enthusiasts through educational initiatives, community building, and hackathons. The primary goals are to increase on-chain activity, promote IoTeX’s unique features like DePIN, Iopay Wallet, W3bstream, IoID and cultivate a vibrant ecosystem of applications that utilize IoTeX’s technology for solutions.

Background and Rationale
The Need for Local Adoption explain the importance of bringing IoTeX at a local level for solving community-specific issues by providing insights into existing ecosystem projects, developer activity, and community engagement. As IoTeX expands, decentralisation and community involvement becomes increasingly crucial.

OBJECTIVES
Educational Outreach: Increase understanding and technical proficiency in IoTeX among local and regional communities.
Community Building: Grow a supportive local user base, developers, and enthusiasts.
Innovation: Foster the creation of real-world applications on IoTeX through hackathons and more development challenges.

This can achieved through the following measures:

1. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

A. Workshops and Seminars: Topics on blockchain fundamentals, IoTeX architecture, smart contract development, DePIN and IoT integration.

B. Partnerships with local educational institutions for credibility and reach.
C. IoTeX Developer Bootcamps: Intensive sessions where participants learn to build on IoTeX, from wallet integration to deploying decentralized applications (dApps).

2. DEVELOPER AND DESIGNER ONBOARDING

A. IoTeX Meetups: Regular meetups to keep the community engaged, discuss developments, and provide networking opportunities.
B. Mentorship Programs: Pairing new developers with IoTeX veterans/Elites/OG’s to guide them through the ecosystem.

3. HACKATHONS

A. Hackathon Themes: Tailor hackathons to local needs (e.g., agriculture tech, urban mobility).
B. Prizes and Incentives: Offer IoTeX tokens, hardware kits, or funding opportunities for promising projects.
C. Collaboration: Partner with local tech companies, government bodies, or NGOs to provide real-world problems for participants to solve.

4. COMMUNITY GROWTH INITIATIVES

A. Local Ambassadors: Appoint local ambassadors to drive community activities, manage events, and act as the face of IoTeX locally.

IoTeX is misleading about its ecosystem. Claims of many DApps & projects are exaggerated—it’s largely a ghost chain with minimal activity. Even the logo colors mimic Solana. The team reiterates old promises (e.g., ‘decentralized identity’ since 2019) every bull run. Stay cautious
