Quantir Risk Intelligence Layer for IoTeX DePIN and DeFi

Project Summary

Quantir proposes to build an IoTeX-specific risk intelligence and explainable alerting layer for DePIN, DeFi, bridge, and infrastructure monitoring.

The goal is to help IoTeX builders, DePIN teams, DeFi protocols, infrastructure operators, and ecosystem participants detect abnormal activity earlier, understand risk more clearly, and integrate structured risk alerts into dashboards, bots, APIs, or internal monitoring systems.

The proposed module will monitor selected public or opt-in IoTeX ecosystem signals and convert them into structured alerts with severity levels, risk scores, reason codes, evidence fields, and human-readable explanations.

Problem

IoTeX is strongly positioned around DePIN and real-world data, while also supporting DeFi, bridges, wallets, infrastructure, and ecosystem applications. As more DePIN and DeFi activity grows on IoTeX, builders need better visibility into operational and financial risk.

Common challenges include:

  • DePIN projects may expose public operational signals, but these signals are not always easy to normalize, compare, or monitor.

  • DeFi and bridge activity can change quickly, creating liquidity, routing, and abnormal-activity risks.

  • Ecosystem teams need explainable alerts, not only raw dashboards.

  • Developers need reusable schemas and monitoring patterns that can be integrated into their own tools.

  • Early ecosystems benefit from risk tooling before major liquidity, users, or incidents arrive.

Proposed Solution

Quantir will build a risk intelligence module focused on IoTeX DePIN, DeFi, bridge, and infrastructure signals.

The module will include:

  • IoTeX risk signal taxonomy.

  • Monitoring adapter for selected public or opt-in IoTeX ecosystem signals.

  • Alert schema for DePIN, DeFi, bridge, liquidity, infrastructure, and abnormal activity risks.

  • Risk scoring and explanation logic.

  • Sample alert scenarios.

  • API/WebSocket-ready alert payload examples.

  • Reference dashboard or alert consumer.

  • Documentation, setup guide, tests, and final technical report.

The initial scope will focus on public and ecosystem-safe signals. Quantir will not attempt to collect private user data or create opaque risk labels. Every alert will include clear reasons and evidence references where possible.

Ecosystem Fit

This project fits the IoTeX ecosystem as Infrastructure / Developer Tooling.

It can support:

  • DePIN teams that need monitoring and explainable status/risk alerts.

  • DeFi protocols that need liquidity, transaction, bridge, or abnormal activity monitoring.

  • Infrastructure operators that need operational visibility.

  • Developers who want reusable alert schemas and risk monitoring examples.

  • Ecosystem reviewers who need better visibility into project health and activity.

The project can also complement IoTeX ecosystem components such as ioTube, ioPay, mimo.exchange, explorers, DeFi dashboards, and future DePIN monitoring workflows.

Current Status

Quantir already has a working on-chain risk intelligence platform foundation, including:

  • Live collectors.

  • Protocol snapshots.

  • Transaction monitoring.

  • Normalized risk scoring.

  • Alert generation.

  • API/WebSocket interfaces.

  • Explainability services.

  • Monitoring support across 11 protocols and 3 chains in the broader Quantir platform.

The IoTeX-specific module is not live yet and will be built as part of this grant.

Technical Approach

The technical approach has five parts:

  1. IoTeX signal taxonomy

Define the first set of IoTeX DePIN, DeFi, bridge, and infrastructure risk signals.

  1. Data model and alert schema

Create normalized schemas for input signals and output alerts. Alerts will include severity, risk score, reason codes, evidence fields, timestamps, category, and human-readable explanations.

  1. Monitoring adapter

Build a prototype adapter for selected public or opt-in IoTeX ecosystem data sources.

  1. Risk scoring and explainability

Implement scoring and explanation logic so alerts are transparent and actionable.

  1. Reference integration

Provide a lightweight dashboard or API/WebSocket consumer that shows how IoTeX builders can consume the alerts.

Why Quantir

Quantir is already building the underlying infrastructure needed for this proposal: on-chain collectors, protocol snapshots, transaction monitoring, risk scoring, alert generation, API/WebSocket interfaces, and explainability services.

This makes the IoTeX grant scope realistic and focused. Rather than starting from zero, the team will adapt existing risk intelligence foundations into an IoTeX-specific public-good module for DePIN, DeFi, bridge, and infrastructure monitoring.

Long-Term Plan

After the grant, Quantir plans to:
