Hi. Earlier in this forum thread we described our capabilities and plans for an educational platform.
Now because of the war in Ukraine most of my work has stopped, part of our team was under a lot of stress because of the bombing. But the first shock of what is happening in my country has passed, and we are ready to work again. Your help and support for Ukraine and Ukrainians during this difficult time is very important to me.
As a sign of gratitude, I have prepared a concept for the creation of IoTeX University, which is useful for the whole IoTeX community.
This is the first prototype of the site, which is designed to reveal interest in learning among the readers of cryptocoinexpert.info. Within the next week, we will be posting a final version of the site online with a presentation of the future IoTeX University. We have every opportunity, through our joint efforts, to create this educational institution, which will attract new developers and active users to IoTeX.

While we are working on the website, the organizational structure, and many other organizational things. Big, ambitious projects are slow to create, but right now we are laying a solid foundation for a large infrastructure project for the entire IoTeX ecosystem.
Right now we are not yet looking to develop IoTeX University social media, but we already have social media accounts:

We see the community.iotex.io forum as the main media channel for discussion, and we will develop it and fill it with content. We see https://cryptocoinexpert.info as the main media channel for publishing news and big scientific reviews, which has its own audience and subscribers.
The learning process will take place on an educational online platform. We will talk about it a little later in a separate publication.

Hi. Since our last post on this forum, the IoTeX.iCu team has done a lot of work. I will now go over our work, our challenges, and our future plans point by point.

Curriculum and instructional design. Curricula are formed from learning materials. Programs consist of ordered courses, and courses consist of sequential lessons of varying format and content. At this point, programs and courses need to be arranged in the correct order and a mechanism for testing students’ knowledge needs to be determined

2. Our main problem
The war in Ukraine has slowed down many business processes in our country. Many people were forced to leave their homes and cities, part of the iotex.icu team was forced to relocate outside Ukraine. In this difficult situation, many higher education institutions are forced to work out new learning algorithms.
Today in Ukraine and around the world there is an acute shortage of new effective management tools that allow people to remotely interact with each other, make joint decisions, decentralize their execution and coordinate resources through decentralized and provably neutral mechanisms.
Despite the difficult times in Ukraine, unique distance learning programs and systems of interaction with students are being developed. Our team continues to work and interact with university teachers.
3. Since our last publication, we’ve done a lot of work:
- The iotex.icu website is designed and ready to launch
- A whitepaper & roadmap has been developed
- We’ve gone through all the steps of interacting remotely with each other, and making joint decisions by a group of people we don’t know and know little about each other.
- We gained experience working on the forum and created a successful discussion thread in Ukrainian.
- We proved to ourselves that we were able to work remotely, to make joint decisions and carry out planned tasks.
- We have successfully created and launched DAO on Harmony blockchain.
All the work we have done during this time, we plan to implement in IoTeX.
Now we are confident that we will be able to realize the creation of a large infrastructure project like IoTeX University.
I turn to @Raullen, @zimne, please tell me what steps we need to take for further work on creation of IoTeX University? Can we submit a funding request for this work?

Hi. Unfortunately for me right now we cannot move forward with the creation of IoTeX University. The reality is that russian aggression and the war in Ukraine are preventing our team from working on the creation of this institution. I want to objectively say that we will not be able to continue this work until the spring of 2023. Briefly about some of the problems in the it-industry in Ukraine wrote the authoritative website Bloomberg, unfortunately much of what is written in this article is true.
Now part of our team is in safe Europe, part of the team is in Kiev and Kharkov. Despite the trials, we continue to work and benefit Ukraine. Right now we are focused on helping the ZSU. Apart from that we are continuing to develop the Kobzar Cultural Space, create media events and support Ukrainian artists.
How can we be useful to the IoTeX project?
The war in Ukraine will definitely end, and we will come back to the issue of creation of IoTeX University. So I propose to create on this forum a Ukrainian-language local, which I and my colleagues will fill with content in Ukrainian. In addition, we will integrate IoTeX technologies into the Kobzar Cultural Space, and continue to introduce the IoTeX project to the Ukrainian community.
Also, we want to introduce the IoTeX community with Ukrainian contemporary art, which is gaining popularity in the world and is an attractive investment asset. Works by Ukrainian artists are selling well at the world’s leading auctions.
Ukraine is a big and rich country, the IoTeX project has Ukrainians who love IoTeX and want to develop together!

I think you made a good point @m1m2. Now the cultural initiative is more relevant to Ukraine and to the iotex project. Later we can come back to the issue of creating an educational center, but now it’s better to focus on simpler solutions.

In November 2021, my team and I set an ambitious goal of creating an educational institution in the IoTeX ecosystem. I understand that we made the wrong funding request and many other mistakes, requested (probably) an inflated budget, so we could not convince the IoTeX team of the promise of our proposal.
But all this time, despite the war, we continue to work. One of our specialists worked as a consultant in creating a course for the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The result was a free course for millions of Ukrainians:
Every Ukrainian can now get basic skills in the use of virtual assets at a course on crypto literacy and blockchain, and work with real cases from industry experts.
- The history of money, the development of blockchain technology, and the creation of bitcoin
- Mining and consensus algorithms
- NFT, DAO, and DeFi
- Opportunities and risks of trading in the digital asset market
- Basics of cyber hygiene

In retrospect, the IoTeX project had every prospect of being among the advisors for this course. I have written about this repeatedly to virtually every member of the IoTeX team.
Now we will wait for a new window of opportunity.
