Proposal Description

The IoTeX blockchain project has shown excellent results in four years of development. Today IoTeX is one of the most reliable blockchains in the world, its main advantages are: decentralization, security, speed of Transactions, low commissions, compatibility with EVM and Web3. IoTeX technology is capable of providing an ever-growing ecosystem of Dapps, devices, tokens, marketplaces and more. The goal of the decentralized IoTeX network is to transition to a DAO community, a fully community-driven community for the community. Based on these facts, we are optimistic about IoTeX development prospects and the integration of the project’s products (technologies) into the cryptocoinexpert.info community.

The cryptocoinexpert.info site is a software product that unites users into a thematic community and creates informational, educational and popular scientific content. The use of crypto-economic incentives involve users in the process of content creation and social activity in our media resources. Each registered user has access to a personal account with useful functionality: personal messages, wallet (in the process of testing), money transfers between users (in the process of testing), etc.

Our mission is to teach people how to use new technologies, to teach users how to apply these technologies in their everyday life.

Our goal today is to create technology reviews and educate people - future DApp creators and users of the IoTeX blockchain network. Together with the IoTeX team, we want to create crypto-economic incentives for users that will accelerate the development of the infrastructure needed to run billions of devices and decentralized applications in the physical and digital world.

The global goal is to attract developers, teams, companies, users and liquidity to the IoTeX project.

Now the site supports English and Russian, we are planning to translate the articles of the site into Spanish, German, Vietnamese, Indonesian and other world languages within 3-12 months. These steps will attract additional readers, authors, and users.

A 3-month marketing and plan:

• Articles aimed at crypto/blockchain readers in IoTeX;
• Articles in the Technology rubric (Robots, IoT, Space, Tokenization) describing IoTeX technologies, prospects and successes;
• Writers contest with monthly awards for the top three stories dedicated to the project in the Expert rubric;
• Interviews with the founders, members of the IoTeX team, delegates, strategic partners in the IoTeX Expert rubric;
• Creation of prototypes of IoT devices, their demonstration for Pebble Tracker, RaspPi, Arduino in the IoT column;
• Creating and publishing tutorials to help other developers get started with IoTeX;
• Conducting AMAs and posting videos and announcements on cryptocoinexpert.info;
• Content in social networks (twitter, facebook, telegram, vk) and forums (bitcointalk, altcoinstalks, cryptotalk);
• Creation of original illustrations, training videos, reviews of the use of IoTeX technologies and products.

To engage users in the IoTeX ecosystem, along with the creation and regular publication of educational and marketing articles (at least 4 times a week), interviews, and news about the IoTeX project, the cryptocoinexpert.info community team will create the infrastructure for using the IOTX coin.

We have reached an agreement to hire a group of professional designers to create high-quality images. These unique and distinctive images will be used in articles about the IoTeX project. We plan to convert each image to NFT and put it up for sale on the NFT Marketplace. Additionally we will create real prints of these images on canvas and exhibit them in the gallery Kobzar in Kiev (Ukraine), we will create new creative news stories mentioning IoTeX.

Technical integration to attract and retain users:

• Integration of IOTX with the purse in the user’s personal account on cryptocoinexpert.info
• Attracting users to the IoPay wallet to use IOTX and stacking
• Integration of the service for the creation of tokens of the XRC-721 standard (NFT) minttoken.io (or analogue)
• Integration of the Mimo DEX service (or similar)
• Creation and deployment of a special program for users, allowing them to earn IOTX and tokens of XRC-20, XRC-721 standard at cryptocoinexpert.info
• Launch of referral program with IOTX accrual option
• Preparation for creation of NFT marketplace for XRC-721 tokens trading
• Preparing for the creation of virtual worlds for the meta universe and combining real devices with virtual ones

IOTX coin will be gradually integrated into cryptocoinexpert.info services. At the very beginning we will connect the ability to IOTX transfers, deposits and conversions within the IoTeX network, stacking. The next step will be to enable off-network transfers to cryptocoinexpert.info users’ wallet addresses.

We plan to spend no more than 3 months for primary technical works. For this we plan to involve developers: product manager, back-end developers, front-end developers, QA engineer, designer.

The first milestone is 1 months after the launch of the program. If hard cap targets are achieved during this time, KPI metrics can be revised and increased.

Thank you to the IoTeX community for their support, and separately I would like to thank Dasha Artanovskaya for her constructive feedback, we really appreciate feedback, and we always listen to the community’s opinions.

I am posting in this thread an explanation of our proposal.

The cryptocoinexpert.info team has set a goal to find developers and attract them to IoTeX.

We want to educate and attract to IoTeX people who will create products using IoTeX technologies.

Our goal is to create an information flow for students and programmers, and to attract more programmers to IoTeX, for which there is a struggle in all blockchain projects.

Many people know that in Ukraine there are a lot of good professionals who work for foreign employers, and there is a kind of competition among employers for them.

Our goal is to create such conditions and information background so that the students of technical universities will start looking towards IoTeX and not towards the leaders who recruit the best students to their companies, the development centers of which are located in Ukraine (EPAM or GlobalLogic).

To fulfill these goals, the IoTeX project needs specific content, lots of content that no top YouTube blogger can offer them, much less an English-language blogger.

This is why we are not competing with these guys, we are not looking for consumers of IoTeX products, but for their future creators.

Now we are doing a lot of preparatory work, which is sure to bring the right result for IoTeX. Our main audience is students of technical universities and programmers, graduates of these institutions. To attract our target audience to the IoTeX project, we have planned to train developers and help them create programs and iot components that work in the IoTeX network. We are well positioned to do this.

Why are we confident in success?

Ukrainian developers work with many blockchain projects, including: Ethereum, Cardano, Tron, Harmony, Stellar and others.

Ukraine hosts development centers of well-known companies, such as Oracle, GitLab, EPAM, GlobalLogoc and others.

Students from many countries around the world study at Ukrainian universities. Our audience is teachers, students and graduates of technical institutes.

We offer the IoTeX community to help create a media campaign and offer to create an educational programming course with IoTeX technologies and developments. We believe that these steps will accelerate the development of the IoTeX blockchain project. The amount of investment we requested will prepare the media space and introduce IoTeX technologies to our target audience. I’d like to ask: did you already run such type of project/program for projects other than IoTeX? Do you have any similar content to get a more concrete idea of what you intend to deliver for IoTeX?

Hi @zimne, thanks for studying our proposal and for the right question.

We have never done big media campaigns for blockchain projects. But the authors of cryptocoinexpert.info, who now form the core of our team, are running media campaigns and getting people involved in social projects of traditional businesses. Members of our team are involved with several Ukrainian higher education institutions in the cities of Kharkov, Kiev, Odessa, Kherson. We constantly communicate with teachers, administrators and students from these institutions.

In the blockchain field I personally know the organizers of Ukraine’s largest conference BlockchainUA and many developers who regularly participate in it.

We know how to attract specialists to create software, cultural and public events (exhibitions and conferences), we have experience in creating educational content. Our experience will be useful for IoTeX, will bring to the project new users loyal to IoTeX. For this we will create a lot of understandable content for our target audience, events with mentioning of IoTeX and educational materials to involve them in IoTeX ecosystem.

We, the cryptocoinexpert team, offer you a mutually beneficial partnership. We will create a gaming infrastructure using using IoTeX technologies to retain and engage existing cryptocoinexpert users. To attract new users we will create training materials and guides. We know how to do that.

Hi. This proposal aims to offer many of the insights and guidance that I would have been immensely grateful for. I feel that educational tools providing pertinent information, using simple and relatable terminology is of utmost importance, in particular for new users in the space. Larry made an excellent point on Friday’s live update that the onboarding experience should be a positive, seemless one stop shop if you like. With this in mind it would be great if you harnessed anecdotal user experiences from the iotex community about difficulties and frustrations during thier onboarding experience and sought to educate those coming into the space before that initial interaction with blockchain, using your platform and the socials etc as proposed. We have set ambitious goals for ourselves, and we are constantly moving towards the realization of our plans. Over the past week, we’ve had a lot of amazing things happen. We have personally talked to many active members of the cryptocoinexpert.info community, held several informal talks and presentations, outlined our development plans, and evaluated our current capabilities. We know how hard it is to get new users into blockchain projects, but we have started to develop a program to educate people. We can now say with confidence that we are ready to fulfill our promises outlined in the Halo Grants Program.

Our main goal is to attract target users to the IoTeX blockchain network. To do that, we will teach people how to work and earn money in the IoTeX network, talk about the technologies of the project, and show them how to use those technologies every day in real life. People will understand IoTeX, they will want to join the project and develop it. The educational initiative cryptocoinexpert.info is interesting to people. We can train developers and new users for IoTeX, create educational content in many languages.

Over the past week we have met with several opinion leaders and educators from higher education institutions, defined the algorithm for creating educational content, and started working on the idea of creating an IoT-IoTeX HUB in Kiev and Kharkov (Ukraine). Hi. According to you, the amount for marketing is huge. Ok, I want to briefly explain to you that we do not do marketing (this role in the IoTeX community is well performed by team members and ambassadors), our mission is to train IoTeX technology developers. Marketing and education are two very different things.

Our idea is to create a series of educational materials for programmers, and run electives at several educational institutions. In the future, we can expect to create a training course with a mention of IoTeX technology, which will be approved by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine. This work requires the involvement of professional teachers and opinion leaders, it is initially more costly than creating videos on youtube or constantly posting news on Telegram or Twitter.

In addition, to retain new users and involve them in the IoTeX ecosystem, we have outlined several integrations:

IOTX coin will be gradually integrated into cryptocoinexpert.info services. At the very beginning, we will connect the possibility of IOTX transfers, deposits and conversions inside the IoTeX network, stacking. I understand that at first glance the amount seems enormous, but considering our global goal, the number of people involved to fulfill that goal, and the strategic benefit to the entire IoTeX community, the amount we are asking for seems small.
