Proposal Description

What is Chocomint?

An NFT issuing tool that anyone can create your own contract NFTs without any programming skills. We have already completed our MVP.

It has already been deployed on several networks, with 350 NFT contracts (not tokens) generated on Ethereum mainnet and 1000 on Polygon.
The completed version will support bulk minting, bulk distribution for airdrops, and Whitelist NFT to expand the NFT experience in IoTeX.
Future plans include adding functions such as Indexer and Marketplace, aiming to create an All-in-One NFT Platform that can perform everything from publishing to sales and analyzing.

Motivation

In recent years, NFTs have become an integral part of the growing chain ecosystem.
However, the challenge is that the barrier to entry is high, as one must touch a smart contract to create an NFT.
Chocomint is a tool that solves this problem. Even those without any programming skills can easily create and mint their own NFTs from the UI.
Our goal is to lower the barriers to entry for NFTs and to grow the IoTeX ecosystem through NFTs.

Milestones

Milestone 1 : MVP support to IoTeX Mainnet

  • Duration: 2 weeks

  • Deliverables
    Our MVP’ll be touchable on the IoTeX main net, and anyone can easily mint NFTs.

  • Funds request (USD): 1,000 USD

Milestone 2: Develop NFT issuer

  • Duration: 6~8 weeks

  • Deliverables

    Complete to develop the enhanced version of the NFT issuing tool that has these features.

    • Bulk Mint
      Can mint a large number of NFTs at once.
    • Easy to Airdrop
      Can mint a large number of NFTs directly to the addresses you designated
    • Lazy Mint
      It is also possible to have the minter pay for the gas.
    • ERC2981 Royalty standard
      Support for royalty formats in various marketplaces.
    • Metadata can be decentralized
      The distributed storage services such as IPFS can be set for the metadata.
    • Can Whitelist
      It is possible to create the NFTs only whitelisted addresses can claim.

The success of this project can be tracked by the number of NFT contract and NFTs made from our dapps

Our KPI are these.
After 3 months
Number of The Users : 100
Number of Contracts : 150
Number of NFTs. : 2,000

After 6 months
Number of The Users : 500
Number of Contract : 750
Number of NFT : 10,000

Probably not many users of our Dapps, but if it becomes easier to create NFTs in IoTeX, it must lead to a great growth of the IoTeX ecosystem!

Interesting project, but there may be more R&D on the product, because just a generated NFT tool is not attractive, do you have any plans for product upgrades?
