Proposal Description

Quidli is the top token rewards tool for crypto orgs to keep their communities engaged natively in Slack and Discord.
We want to enable IoTeX to recognize your active community members for their contributions, such as social media participation. We are already used by community teams at orgs such as ConsenSys and the NEAR Foundation.

Our proposal for IoTeX :
This initial proposal to IoTeX is to build a light integration of the IOTX token to the Quidli API and app environment.
This will enable us to offer IOTX to our user base of 600+ organizations (notable users include ETHDenver, OrangeDAO, Xooglers, SOSV, dlab) as an option to distribute as micro-incentives across browsers, email, Slack and or Discord via Quidli’s hosted sharing wallet application.

Our immediate aims for adding IoTeX are:

  1. To enable IoTeX to use Quidli internally via Slack and external via Discord (sharing rewards with the community)
  2. To offer our existing user base IOTX token as a micro-incentive option
  3. To better streamline on/off-ramps across global payment systems for our users (today we enable on-ramping from fiat to crypto onto Quidli via MoonPay, Wyre and Transak)

Milestones

Timeline:
Within 3 weeks after successfully agreed on the grant application and the grant reception:

  • Initial light integration of IOTX token to Quidli environment.
  • Implement IOTX for users to transact across Quidli web app, Slack and Discord.

Milestones
Following the grant agreement, we will need to test the IOTX token in the Quidli test environment.

1st Milestone (first week):
Our tech team will probably need additional/technical documentation from the IoTeX Dev team concerning the token integration (we can discuss through Telegram or Discord), as well as using IOTX tokens to be able to test the token within the Quidli environment.

2nd Milestone (2nd week):
We will implement the two steps of the outlined roadmap, we will be working on:

  • Dev & general hosting/maintenance
  • Deploy as incentives to reward our user base at the Quidli level

3rd Milestone (3st week):

  • Review of the PoC/MvP with the IoTeX team
  • On-boarding of the IoTeX Marketing & Community Management teams
  • Marketing coordination released

MVP (Results):

  • To enable IoTeX to use Quidli internally via Slack and external via Discord.
  • To offer our existing user base IOTX token as a micro-incentive option.
  • To better streamline on/off-ramps across global payment systems for our users (today we enable on-ramping from fiat to crypto onto Quidli via MoonPay, Wyre and Transak).

Total funds requested

We’re asking for $500,00 in IOTX to implement the first two steps of the outlined roadmap:

  • to cover dev costs & general hosting/maintenance
  • to deploy as incentives to reward our user base at the Quidli level
