Rubic is the Cross-Chain Swap Aggregator which allows you to swap any of our 15,000+ assets, on and between 12 blockchains, in one click. Rubic’s Cross-Chain Swap Aggregator includes On-Chain & Multi-Chain swaps for Ethereum, BNB Chain, Telos, Polygon, Avalanche, Moonriver, Fantom, Harmony, Solana, Arbitrum, Aurora, and NEAR; with seamless fiat on-ramps and more!
Proposal Description
The purpose of this proposal is to make the IoTeX foundation and community aware of what we already built and especially are about to create regarding the IoTeX ecosystem and DeFi in general. We hope to get support in form of a grant to continue with our work.
Rubic is providing users token for token swaps across multiple blockchain networks like Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Moonriver, Fantom, Solana, Avalanche and many others. And now we are looking for integration IoTeX into our unique Multi-Chain Protocol. Why is it unique? Well, with our solution users can trade any token in between 12 different networks regardless of what chain its on or on which DEX the assets liquidity is.
Other so called multi-chain platforms are usually limited in terms of the available token pairings or the maximum trading amount. With Rubic you can literally trade ANY of 15,000+ in a simple click of a button with an UNLIMITED transaction volume.
That being said we are simplifying the DeFi space as a whole. The sheer amount of different networks, the connected DEXs and gaining access to them can be confusing - even for experienced users. Thats why it would be such a great honour to have IoTeX on-board our platform. Connecting it to our multi-chain protocol would make the access to the network way easier. Every user from 12 different blockchains could easily swap their tokens into IoTeX with a simple click of a button and experience the advantages of it.

- Milestone 1: Development process
Duration: 2 weeks
Conduct research on the technical specifics of IoTeX Network, its dApps
and token standards
Conduct research on the automated market makers (AMMs) and
decentralized exchanges (DEXs) that provide liquidity for IoTeX Tokens
and exist in the IoTeX ecosystem
Conduct research on the liquidity baking pairs
Select the eligible DEXs for the integration into the platform and the
multi-chain protocol
Integrate the IoTeX network into the multi-chain smart contract

Duration: 4 weeks
Implement the IoTeX Network into the Rubic dApp and its UI
Integrate 1 or 2 eligible IoTeX DEXs into the Rubic Platform
Deploy a fully accessible on- and multi-chain trading for all assets supported by the selected IoTeX DEXs
Promote the integration beyond the IoTeX community, reaching out to other network communities to provide information about the benefits of the IoTeX network

Metrics
We are currently having an exponential growth in terms of our users, with an overall trading volume of $250M and 12k+ unique users per month. With IoTeX and other networks integrated into the multichain-protocol we are expecting those numbers to at least 10x in the next year.
