Proposal Description

IONFT is an NFT marketplace where the NFTs represent Pebble device readings at a particular point in time. Each NFT is generated through the different device readings produced by Pebble, e.g., temperature, gyroscope, and many others. The MVP currently allows users to mint NFTs for themselves or mint for others to purchase.

Our goal is to create a social platform where users can generate NFT art based on pebble device readings and upload photos of locations the device has been.

We want to expand this to a web-based DApp and build a Cross-Platform Mobile Application. Our MVP1 can be accessed from here: https:iotnft.xyz

Milestones

Milestone 1

The first Milestone will involve conducting a review and analysis of the current implementation and redesigning the parts that need to be improved upon

  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • Outline project scope
  • Deliverables:
    • System analysis and Design document, which will contain a detailed outline of what we intend on building
    • Conduct user experience research through feedback (Sketch)
    • Define personas
    • Figma Mockups with the different UI for Web and Mobile
    • Generative NFT design Mockups
  • Funds request (USD): 15,000 USD

Milestone 2

The second Milestone will involve

  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • Setup landing page for product (Describe product value proposition)
  • Developing the Web Application based on the requirements identified in the first Milestone
  • Developing the new smart contracts for the new design
  • Generating Device readings using Pebble involves traveling to parts of the country which my teammates and I live in
  • Deliverables:
    • System analysis and Design document, which will contain a detailed outline of what we intend on building
    • Web application (MVP 2)
    • Smart contracts (MVP 2)
  • Funds request (USD): 20,000 USD

Milestone 3

The third Milestone will involve

  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Getting community feedback based on MVP 2 DApp
  • Re-evaluate the design based on the feedback received from the community
  • Developing the new smart contracts for the new design
  • Community Participation picking a few people to test the DApp using an actual pebble device
  • Deliverables:
    • User feedback document
    • Updated System design document
  • Funds request (USD): 20,000 USD

Milestone 4

The fourth Milestone will involve

  • Duration: 4 Weeks

  • Improving the designed application based on community feedback.

  • Creating blogs and articles for inbound marketing strategy (Educate users around NFT’s)

  • Creating content

  • Promoting the application on social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook through the content created above

  • Deliverables:

  • Improved DApp

    • End users feedbacks
    • Updated System design document

  • Funds request (USD): 10,000 USD

Milestone 5

This is our last Milestone and will involve

  • Duration: 2 Week
  • Audit smart contract
  • Publishing the DApp for public consumption.

Funds request (USD): 10.000 USD

Post-launch of MVP 2, We intend on developing the Mobile version of the web DApp we will not require any funds for this.
